I’m a mom of young kids with zero hobbies or anything for myself. I’d like to go out a few evenings a month to do something for me but I have no idea where to start! What’s out there in Tucson? Pottery throwing classes? Aerial yoga? I want to hear about all your favorite things!

Iam sitting waiting to fall asleep in my car, when the women in pink who I've never seen in my life tells her friends i sexualy assaulted her. They beat on my car, throw my phone on the ground, scream for people to " get out there cars and beat my ass" they then drive off with multiple open containers.... 40 minutes later the women in pink comes back to fuck with me in my car again. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTkrHrWvR/

You know the cross walk where the three students died? There’s a light there now, but no one seems to care. In the last week, I have witnessed 2 pedestrians have just ran through it while the light was green. It’s very scary.

There is still hope left in humanity.

Car died not too long ago, and whereas most cars literally sped past in their little toddler tantrums, one gentleman took to time and effort to help another in need. Managed to make it to the gas station and limp home.

It’s amazing how one small act, just a few minutes, can make all the bullshit of life a little more bearable.

He asked for nothing, but for him I will pray tonight.

I just moved here from CA and I noticed there’s a new smell I’ve like never smelled it before

It’s kind of a chemically sweet smell like maple syrup mixed with a really animal musky smell

The smell is concentrated on the ground outside my apt and comes through my ac in waves

Not tryna hate but the smell really gets to me it’s unlike anything I’ve smelled does anyone know what it is?

I’m moving soon to a different state and need to get rid of some stuff, like a desk, a bed, a TV, and some furniture. While I could post these up in FB Marketplace, I don’t know how long it would take to sell some of these things. I don’t care if I get less than I could get from selling to a person, at some point I will have to get rid of some stuff.

Can anyone confirm or corroborate my memory of Smash Mouth playing a Tucson Mall parking garage sometime around the year 2000?? I can't find any documentation of this but I swear it happened....

So I'm experiencing something new. A colony of bees took up residence in a palm in my front yard this afternoon. It happened over the course of an hour just before sunset. Anyone else had this experience? Could they be migrating and just resting for the night?

I’m planning to attend the Tucson Erotica art show for the first time and I’m looking for insight on what people typically wear. Are a good portion of attendees dressed to theme in kink wear, or is it generally more casual?

Original Title: Early morning hike to the Mt Lemmon Rock Lookout Tower. Built in 1928, this is the oldest lookout in the forest with a work area, kitchen and sleeping quarters. Encountered some flowers and turkeys along the way.

Pima Community College admenstration for the duration of the 2025/26 year, has been questioning if every class/subject should be 8-week courses only.

Now, here is where I'm speaking from: they haven't brought this subject to the student body, and I feel that is a major issue as my professor reintroduced this idea into my attention. As last semester I had the professor of Math 142 make a mock of this towards me and my classmates, and today, I had a professor once those who were in attendance had settled asked us, students if we knew about idea/talk/conversation and the response was a resounding "no" so in a theoretical timeline this has been in talk for almost an entire year.

The usual length of a Pima Community College course is 16-weeks with 8-week courses being a choice which, it would be a total of 56 days, versus the usual 112 days.

Reasons why I'm against this are:

  1. Decrease in spaced out lectures, can lead to major crossover of units.
  2. This can lead to burnout, which can lead to large number of students failing.
  3. Lack of time for information to be absorbed before jumping to the next unit or chapter.

I am advocating for more transparency between the admenstration, teachers, and students. Meaning I want students to be able to be vocal about matters regarding their education as PCC itself advertises that the students have power over their degree and how long it will take them to get their degree.
