Hi Everyone!
Firstly, let's talk some gaming.
I have been playing some old gems which are really worth revisiting Left 4 Dead 2 being one of them, runs great and plays so well and it's so fun! I will say the sensitivity for me with the steam controller was all over the place, but some fine tuning fixed that issue.
One thing I never highlight enough I feel is the ability to stream Gamepass, it very issue to set up and with a decent connection you're getting to play games at 60fps, great visuals and a lot of games that I find I wouldn't maybe buy yet.
Tears of Metal being one, a roguelike Medieval co-op hack and Slash, where you command a Scottish Battalion. Now The Scot's had some EPIC battles, so it's great to see that brought to a game. Still in early access, so an hour into it, you do feel like it needs something else but time will tell! Great to check out though on steam or Gamepass.
Hell is us, another game I've been wanting to play so much, again on steam or gamepass for people unsure, firstly on the deck it runs at from what I've been able to get a locked 30fps on low graphics, now I have played this on PC and it's a beautiful, atmospheric experience that does deserve to be seen in the best way but playing it is a joy and worth anyway possible. A war torn Eastern European country, it harkens back to scenes from such wars of the 90s with such a heavy horrific vibe then drops all this strange mythology on top with silent hill style enemies. It is a souls like BUT I hate souls likes and this allows you to change settings to your choice and really take away some of those heavy souls elements. Well worth a play!
On to the boring parts: Me!
I appreciated deeply people reaching out, it means more than you know. I like to say for the last month, after March to end of June where I was completely broken, a change of mind has overcome since then and I no longer what to see myself as falling apart, as just settling to the shadows, I am waking up and choosing violence! (In the best way) I am constantly trying to push myself, physically, mentally, emotionally.
Just in this last week, I've met people who already mean the world, that motivate me to be better, to want better, that strive for a better future. I wouldn't have met them in if it wasn't for every single one of you always pushing me, to come out of my shell.
I owe each and every one of you so very much, a day, a week, a month, a year. So much can change, so much can happen in short periods of time, and the version I am today compared to my first post you all read, is so vastly different.
So, once again I can only thank you for being there for me, for giving me the space, time and effort you all offered that has now led me to feeling happy, to feeling hopeful, even when there's still daily pain, even when I wake up
Some days feeling unable to move, but I do, I push, I force, I live. For each and every one of you.
I think I'm a different version of myself because a little bit of each and everyone of you is now apart of me, and you all over the last year have shared nothing but the best of yourselves, and it's given me time to become the best version of me.
Thank you.
M
