I've been brainstorming a recipe for carrot cake ice cream, and I want to hear other people's ideas or if anyone already has a recipe, by any means.
My first thought was adding chunks of carrot cake or maybe blending a couple slices with the cream. I think adding cheese cream might also give it a nice flavor.
Another idea I'm also considering using little bits of caramelized carrots instead of using an actual carrot cake, because baking a whole cake anytime I wanna make this seems like a bit much, but I want it to be carrot *cake* ice cream, not just carrot ice cream and idk how much that would come through if I don't add actual cake to it.
Does anyone have more ideas?
